Rules

one. Follow the proboards rules as well as site rules. Break a rule from either set, and you're screwed. The first time you break a rule, you get a warning, after that for each rule you break that's three days of a suspended account.
two. When it comes to registering for a character, all forms must be filled out within three days or they will be automatically denied and you will have to start over. Also, check what characters and face claims are taken before applying. If you apply for a character that's already taken, you've basically wasted your time because your application will be denied. However, if two users apply for the same character at the same time, and no one currently plays them, the best application will be chosen. Original characters are also acceptable, but if an overflow of original characters occurs, there will be a temporary ban.
three. Display names should not be anything like freeflier534 or thatcrazychild. Display names should be the name of the character being played. Also, if possible register with a username of the character you want. Display names can be in uppercase, lowercase, and have symbols, but try not to go crazy with it.
four. Literacy is a huge thing. No text talk or short choppy sentences. Those roleplay samples are for a reason. Posts should also be done in third person only. Post requirements are a minimum of two paragraphs, and a paragraph is 6-12 sentences. Not all posts have to be this long, even though it's not much to ask, but the majority of them should be. Illiterate posters will get the boot.
five. Cussing is allowed, but only to a minimum. When it gets to the point where the entire sentence would be bleeped out, you'll get a warning and the thread will be locked. If it continues, you will be suspended for any amount of time, depending on how many warnings you've received.
six. Fights are allowed, in fact they're encouraged, but when they get to the point where it's a personal issue and one member is harassing the other, bad things will happen. Rudeness is not tolerated at all. Got it?
seven. Perfect characters are boring and unrealistic. Everybody has dirt and secrets, and has done bad things. Even if you're character is all help the world and let's increase world peace that's cool, but make sure they have some flaws.
eight. Obviously, being active is neccessary. So every month, any character that hasn't posted in the absence board and hasn't logged on or posted in over a month will lose their character. End of story, case close. If you're character gets deleted, obviously you didn't read the rules.
nine. Spamming is bad. It's not cool to just blow up a c-box with your unwanted site advertisements. There's a board for site plugging, and it's not there for decoration. Spamming the c-box or thread will lead to a suspended account.
ten. Do not overflow a thread with a ton of unneccessary OOC comments. If you must post it, go ahead, but if it can just go in the c-box or a private message, then send it one of those ways. Posting avatars, song lyrics, word count, outfits, things like that are completely exceptable.
eleven. Everyone knows stealing isn't cool. Don't do it, that's what copyrights are for. Please copyright all material taken from somewhere else. It does not take that much time.
twelve. Signatures and graphics should not be explicit. Please keep it appropriate considering nobody really wants to burn their eyes by seeing something that isn't supposed to be out. Innapropriate graphics will be removed automatically.
thirteen. According to the TOS of proboards, anything that promotes sex and/or drug use is not allowed to be posted on a proboards site. Considering this is a proboards site, that rule does apply so no posting explicit sites. It doesn't matter if you label it with the secret word music an "M", "R", "Mature" or whatever, just don't do it. Your characters can mention it and move on.
fourteen. One person per account. Not really that hard. if you post in the wrong account, simply copy what you've written and post it in the right account. Also I don't care how many people you want but try to keep the gender ratio balanced. No one wants an overflow of girls.
fifteen When you get a new plot idea, or for some reason your character gets pregnant, you need to first pm both staff members and get their approval first. You may not start posting with the new plot until you do so. This is important.
sixteen Lasty, this is my favorite rule. Very simple and easy to follow. Have fun! enjoy your days with the clique!
